Each injection moulded part follows these steps: 1: Pellets of plastic material are fed into the machine (using a large funnel)
 

2. The plastic is melted at high temperature.
 

3. High pressure forces the plastic into the tool through "gates" or "runners".
 

4. The tool opens and pins force the part out. A part can be made in under a minute!
 

5. The gates are manually trimmed off.
