p1: Workers sit and inspect parts closely for defects. A QC diagram (quality control) shows them key defects to inspect for, and what will be accepted or rejected. Another worker is bringing more parts to be sorted.
Parts are carefully inspected for defects.
 

Logos can be added using a pad printing machine or a laser etching tool.
p2: A pad printing machine - a soft rubber head moves up and down to transfer ink onto oddly-shaped parts. The soft head will conform to the part shape.
 

p3: A large laser etching machine. The laser "burns" the logo onto the part.
